The Supreme Court (SC) has set Tuesday (March 12) to hold a hearing on a petition filed against the High Court order that that said primary and secondary schools would remain closed during the month of Ramadan.

Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division of the SC Justice M Enayetur Rahim on Monday passed the order, maintaining the stay imposed by the High Court (HC), after hearing a petition filed by the state challenging the HC order.

The chamber judge sent the petition to its full bench for hearing the matter on Tuesday.
