Daily Bangla Times: Bangladesh have made history against England as the Tigers sealed T20I series with remaining a game left. Bangladesh beat England by four wickets in the second T20I of the three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur in the capital on Sunday (March 12), after they thrashed the visitors in the first match by six wickets

England set a 118-run target for Bangladesh in the second match as they were bowled out for 117 runs in 20 overs.

Ben Duckett scored 28 runs off 28 balls with two boundaries while Philip Salt posted 25 runs from 19 balls with three boundaries and an over-boundary.

Moeen Ali registered 15 runs off 17 balls and Sam Curran bagged 12 runs. Besides, Rehan Ahmed scored 11 runs.

For Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz smashed four wickets. In chase, the Tigers reached the target with remaining seven balls left.

Bangladesh, thanks to Najmul Hossain Shanto’s 46-run innings, scored 120 runs by losing six wickets in 18.5 overs. Najmul Hossain Shanto smashed 46 runs off 47 balls with three boundaries. Mehidy Hasan Miraz posted 20 runs while Towhid Hridoy scored 17 runs. Litton Das and Rony Talukdar registered 9 runs each.

Taskin Ahmed hit the winning shot as they posted 8 runs off 3 balls with two boundaries.
