Daily Bangla Times: England beat Bangladesh in the second ODI by 132 runs at Sher-e Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka on Friday (March 3), securing the three-match series as the visitors won the first match by three wickets.

England, thanks to 132-run brilliant innings of Jason Roy, scored 326 runs in 50 overs in the second match. Jason Roy hit 132 runs off 124 balls with 18 boundaries and one over-boundary.

Skipper and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler smashed 76 runs from 64 balls with five boundaries and two over-boundaries.

Moeen Ali scored 42 runs off 35 balls with three boundaries and two over-boundaries.Moeen Ali bagged 33 runs from 19 balls with two boundaries and as many over-boundaries. Dawid Malan hit 11 runs while Philip Salt and Adil Rashid scored 7 and 6 runs respectively.

For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed smashed three wickets while Mehidy Hasan Miraz got two wickets. In chase, Tigers managed to score 194 runs losing all wickets in 44.4 overs. Shakib Al Hasan scored 58 runs while Tamim Iqbal hit 35 runs. Mahmudullah Riyad smashed 32 runs and Afif Hossain scored 23 runs.

Taskin Ahmed bagged 21 runs. Meanwhile, Litton Das and Najmul Hossain Shanto hit golden ducks.For England, Sam Curran and Adil Rashid got four wickets each.
