Daily Bangla Times : A fire broke out on the seventh floor of a 14-storey building in the city`s Gulshan-2 on Sunday evening (February 19).
Firefighters have recovered a body so far while rescuing several persons from the multi-storied building. On information, 19 firefighting units rushed to the spot. No casualties were reported so far.
Fire Service headquarters duty officer Ershad Hossain said that the fire originated around 7:00 pm. The reasons behind the fire and the extent of damage could not be confirmed immediately.
