The fire that broke out at a warehouse of Refining Sugar Industries Limited in Isanagar area under Karnaphuli upazila in Chattogram district was brought under control at 5 pm on Monday.
Confirming the information, Karnaphuli Fire Service Senior Station Officer Shoaib Hossain Munshi said the fire broke out in the mill at around 3:55 pm and engulfed the whole godown soon.
On information, 12 units of firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze by 5pm.
