Daily Bangla Times: An explosion has occurred at a building in Gulistan in the capital, leaving15 people killed and many others injured. The incident took place after 5:00 pm on Tuesday (March 7). Eleven units of fire service are working to rescue the casualties.Khaleda Yeasmin, duty of officer of Fire Service Headquarters confirmed the matter .
She said, “The explosion at the building adjacent to BRTC bus counter at Phulbaria in Gulistan. Five units of Fire Service are working to rescue the casualties.”
Meanwhile, Bachchu Mia, In-Charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, eight of the injured of Gulistan explosion have died after being taken to DMCH.
Locals said there was a loud explosion in that area. There were many passengers present there. They got panicked and ran to a safe destination. Some 20 to 25 injured people were rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
