Daily Bangla Times: An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter Scale jolted Sylhet on Thursday (Feb 16) morning.
The earthquake was felt at 9.56 am.
The epicentre of the quake was India's Meghalaya region and the origin of earthquake was 64.8km deep, according to the United States Geological Survey.
Fortunately, no casualties or damage to properties have been reported.
Farzana Sultana, assistant meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department, confirmed the matter.
