The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Friday dissolved its city unit committees of Dhaka South, Dhaka North, Chattogram and Barishal, and the central committee of its youth front, Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal.

A press release, signed by the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, announced the dissolution of the convening committees.

The release stated that the new committees for these units and the Juba Dal will be announced at a later date.
