Today in Napier Bangladesh made a historic T20I win against New Zealand. Liton Das made a measured knock of unbeaten 42 off 36 deliveries to guide Bangladesh to win by five wickets in the first T20I of the three-match series.

The victory in Bangladesh's first over the Kiwis in New Zealand. The Tigers came into the match on the back of a maiden away ODI win in a bilateral series against New Zealand at the same ground. 

In the first innings Bangladesh bowlers bowled tremendously to raise a prospect of ending the losing streak in T20 format on New Zealand soil as they restricted the hosts to paltry 134-9.
