Daily Bangla Times:BNP has announced a three-day program protesting arrest of Rafiqul Alam Majnu, member secretary of the party’s Dhaka metropolitan south unit. Dhaka metropolitan south convener freedom fighter Abdus Salam announced this after a meeting with senior leaders on Monday. The party will bring out protest processions at all thanas and wards on May 22 and 24 and will stage demonstration in front of BNP's Nayapaltan office on May 27.   Earlier, BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi protested the arrest in a statement on Sunday midnight.

Detective Branch (BD) of police picked up Rafiqul Alam Majnu on Sunday night from his Shahjahanpur residence in the capital.
