Daily Bangla Times: A journalist of an English Daily has been shot by miscreants in Satkania of Chattogram. A child named Rafi Raihan, 5, also received bullet injury in the incident that took place in Awchiar area on Sunday noon.

Kamrul Islam, 50, is the Chattogram bureau chief of The Daily Evening News.  They were immediately taken to Satkania Upazila Health Complex but later they were shifted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital. The journalist used to publish news on illegal hill cutting, illegal sand collection and drugs.
