Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Khandaker Golam Faruq has said that there is no specific threat of terror attacks at the Eid jamaats.The DMP boss came up with the remark while talking to the journalists after visiting the National Eidgah in the city on Friday.

“There is no specific threat of terror attacks. But we have taken measures keeping in mind the attacks on Sholakia Eid congregation,” he said.He said everybody will be searched before entering the venue.  There will be CCTV cameras, dog squads, bomb disposal units, SWAT and cops in plainclothes.
