The health minister said this while addressing a program at Osmani Auditorium in the capital on Wednesday noon (April 12). He said that we have reduced maternal and child mortality. The number of deliveries in our community clinics has increased. But the alarming matter is that the number of C-sections has also increased to a much higher level in private hospitals. This cannot be accepted. The Ministry of Health will increase surveillance in private hospitals. At the same time, we will do everything we can to minimize the number of C-sections, he added.
