Daily Bangla Times: President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have extended their heartiest congratulation to the players of the Bangladesh cricket team for their historic win against England.

The President and the Prime Minister issued separate felicitation messages on Tuesday (March 14).

A message from the office of the President said President Abdul Hamid congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team for whitewashing England in the three-match T20I series. The head of state expressed hope that this winning spree of Bangladesh will continue in the future.

Besides, the Prime Minister greeted all the players, coach, and officials of the national cricket team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for whitewashing England.

Bangladesh wrapped up a 3-0 series whitewash over World Champions England with a 16-run victory in the final T20I of the series, thanks to a brilliant 73 from Litton Das and a game-changing over from Mustafizur Rahman.
