Seven people with dengue fever were hospitalized in the last 24 hours (from Wednesday 8 am to Thursday 8 am). Currently, a total of 31 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals.

Of them, 17 are being treated at the facilities of Dhaka while 14 are in other divisions, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said today.  

As per the release, a total of 776 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year. 

A total of nine people died of dengue during the period while 736 out of the hospitalized patients recovered.
