BD Correspondent: Jatiya Oikyafront today submitted a list of 90 top brass in public and police administrations to the Election Commission (EC) demanding their immediate withdrawal ahead of the 11th parliamentary election.

A team of the opposition alliacne placed a letter in this regard to the EC signed by Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the party’s secretary general and spokesperson of Oikyafront, this afternoon.

The alliance also submitted 12 other letters on different issues including violation of electoral code of conduct by the ruling party men.

The issue of the arrest of BNP leaders and activists after the announcement of election schedule was also included in one of the letters, said Sayrul Kabir Khan, a staff of the BNP chairperson’s media wing, told The media.
